OF+MO to Partner with Red Brick Road Film Festival in Pauls Valley
OF+MO is proud to be a first-time sponsor of the Red Brick Road Film Festival, taking place in Pauls Valley, Okla., October 10-13. Hosted by the Washita River Film Society and one of the only events of its kind in this region of the state, the festival will feature a variety of feature length and short films of all genres as well as table reads, industry panels, networking receptions and more with a particularly strong showcase on local Oklahoma film talent.
OF+MO to Highlight Film Incentives & Industry on Upcoming OKMPA Panel
The Oklahoma Motion Picture Alliance will host their next workshop at the University of Tulsa on October 12, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. This panel discussion, The Oklahoma Advantage, will focus on Oklahoma’s incentive programs and address a step-by-step guide to applications and submissions, available film incentives, infrastructure and resources, best practices, common pitfalls and more. Moderated by Talia Bella, Partner/Producer with Rebellium Films, this panel will feature Jeanette Stanton, Director of OF+MO; Jen Loren, Senior Director of Cherokee Film; Jill Simpson, Executive Director of OKC Film & Creative Industries Office; and Jenn Ross, Oklahoma Key Production Accountant/Rebate Consultant. This workshop is free for active members and open to the public for $25 per person. Students with a valid student ID can attend at a discounted rate of $10.

Francis Tuttle Technology Center to Offer Location Scouting & Management Course
Francis Tuttle Technology Center’s Rockwell Campus will host a Location Scouting & Management course October 14 - November 4, on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays 5-9 p.m. Taught by veteran location manager Luke Helms, participants will learn about city permitting, utility regulations, interdepartmental regulations and everything necessary to organize and manage film projects. This course is ideal for individuals interested in management roles on set, including utilities, directing, producing or location scouting.

SAVE THE DATE! Music Friendly Certification Program to Launch in Atoka November 14
OF+MO is thrilled to announce the launch of their Music Friendly Certification Program that aims to empower Oklahoma communities in supporting music professionals and forwarding industry growth. The program will start with a pilot workshop and mixer on November 14 at Reba’s Place in Atoka, Okla. More information will be released this month. Cherokee Nation Celebrates Expansion of Cherokee Film Studios
Cherokee Nation and its businesses are celebrating the expansion of Cherokee Film Studios in Owasso. The tribe recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the addition of a second soundstage and more to its Owasso campus. 
The recently completed expansion includes a second soundstage featuring 10,000 square feet, a 35-foot ceiling, full soundproofing to cinema standards, a modular truss system with chain hoists, a hair and makeup room, a multipurpose/flex space, restrooms, 14-foot bay doors for load-ins and RV hookups for production trailers.
