Dear Friend
It's been so long since I've been to your verdant fields. And for that, I am sorry. I suppose the pandemic has something to do with the delay, but still. Well, the wait is almost over. I will be back in Michigan and Ohio (albeit in costume) in a few short weeks with my wild, weird, and (I believe) wonderful duo the Sons of Town Hall.
If you've not seen us, expect angelic harmonies, guitar parts above my talent level, and dance moves that I should never endeavor. It's a great show. Trust me.
On Tuesday June 13, we are playing the legendary Ark in Ann Arbor (who remembers when I first played the Hill way back in the day?). Then we are doing a very intimate show in Bowling Green on Wednesday. And then we play the amazing Marathon Center for the Performing Arts in Findlay on Thursday.
This will be our first time playing any of these towns, and so I come with a humble ask:
Not only would I love it if you got tickets and joined us (in costume, ideally)...but it would also mean the world if you brought say, 30 or 40 of your closest friends. Hell, charter a bus maybe. Make it a pilgrimage. I'm kidding. Kind of. But if you do think you might be able to rally a crew, email me, and I'll try to get you a couple free tickets for your efforts.
Also, for those in neighboring Indiana or almost neighboring Illinois, I apologize. For some odd reason every bloody venue I typically play in your amazing state was booked this time around. However, we are still free on Friday June 16...so if you'd like to organize a show, email me. We'll make it amazing (and painless for you).
