A.G. Rhodes Ranked #1 in Georgia!
Congratulations to A.G. Rhodes Wesley Woods and A.G. Rhodes Atlanta for again being ranked among Georgia’s best nursing homes on Newsweek’s Best Nursing Homes 2026 list.

For the fifth consecutive year, A.G. Rhodes Wesley Woods is recognized as the number one nursing home in Georgia on the list of nursing homes with at least 150 beds. And for the third consecutive year, A.G. Rhodes Atlanta was among best nursing homes in the 100-149 beds category, ranking number one on the 2025 and 2026 lists.

Profiles of Positive Aging
Three A.G. Rhodes residents were recently celebrated at Profiles of Positive Aging, an annual event that honors older adults whose rich life experiences and contributions to their communities. Hosted by LeadingAge Georgia, a network of nonprofit aging services providers including A.G. Rhodes, this event recognizes Georgians making a difference at every age. Thank you, ladies, for representing A.G. Rhodes so well with your grace, wisdom and elegance!

Finding Purpose and Acceptance
Employee Spotlight: Denise Hamilton, Environmental Services, A.G. Rhodes Cobb
Denise Hamilton has been a dedicated and compassionate member of the A.G. Rhodes Cobb team for 26 years. She currently works in Environmental Services on the third-floor Memory Care unit, bringing a warm smile to every interaction. While she’s known for her cheerfulness, her journey is one of courage and acceptance.
As October marks ADHD Awareness Month, Denise shares her personal story of living with ADHD, highlighting the value of understanding and acceptance in the workplace. 
“I used to be ashamed,” Denise said. “But now I want people to know that if they have a disability, it’s okay; don’t be ashamed. We may have our own special way of doing things, but we still get the job done.”

Fall Festivities Fun!
Fall is in the air and in our homes with lots of fun activities and getting out to enjoy the beautiful fall weather. As we head into the season of gratitude, we are grateful for our community of families, volunteers, care partners, board members, donors, and everyone who supports our mission of care. Thank you!
Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month
Our homes held various activities to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, including a lively fiesta and a vibrant performance by a traditional Mexican dance group that performed at A.G. Rhodes Cobb. Take a look!
Walking for Awareness
A.G. Rhodes Care Partners and residents recently joined community walks in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Alzheimer’s Awareness. Everyone came together to honor loved ones, raise awareness, and show their commitment to causes that touch so many lives.

Support Our Community Donation Drive!
Through a partnership with Community Development Volunteers for Technical Assistance (CDTVA), we are collecting new and gently used items to send to families in Cameroon, West Africa. 
Your donations will bring warmth, comfort, and hope to those in need. Together, we can share love beyond borders.
