Hall of Fame Induction Celebration
The Ensworth and MBA communities came together to celebrate Coach Ricky Bowers' induction into the Tennessee Football Coaches Hall of Fame on Thursday, January 18. The night was spent telling stories, looking at old pictures and catching up with teammates, coaches and families.
A special thanks to all who came out to the celebration, and everyone who sent in congratulatory videos for Coach Bowers! Here is one of our favorites.

Words of Gratitude

Dear Ensworth community,
I received a letter from Alive Hospice thanking me for including them as a place to make donations in honor and memory of Robin Smith.
They have been overwhelmed by the generosity of donors. They appreciate the honor of being there for Robin in her final days and are inspired by all of you who cared for her. I have also heard from Planned Parenthood and many libraries, noting the many donations they have received as well.
Robin was sick for two years, and you all had her back every step of the way. You have continued to keep her memory alive through your generosity. As difficult as these months since Robin’s death have been, I come to school every day knowing I am part of a wonderful and supportive community.
Thank you so much,
Dean Schneider
From the Desk of David Berry

'We had a great turn out for the annual theatre alumni reunion at the Berry household this year as around 35 alumni representing 5 different classes hung out, ate brunch and spent a few hours catching up. If you didn't make it out this year we hope to see you next year on or around New Year's Eve. As always, please feel free to drop us a line and let us know how you are and what you are up to, or better yet stop by school and see us. Love ya'll!'
Remembering Louise Kinnard Halliday
Students at Ensworth between the years 1977-1991 will remember beloved Grade 2 Teacher Louise Kinnard Halliday, who passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

A Memorial Service was held at St. Georges Episcopal Church this past Saturday, January 29.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Halliday requested that donations be made to Ensworth, Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center, and Fannie Battle Day Home for Children

Alumni Victory Over Ice Tigers
The Ice Tigers gave it their all, but in the end, the victory went to the alumni once again during the annual Alumni Hockey Game on December 27. It feels good to know you’ve still got it, right? Be ready for the 2018 rematch!
