Alumni and Friends,
Welcome to the latest issue of E-Viewpoints, the newsletter of the College of Health & Human Sciences. The fall semester is well underway, and there’s a palpable sense of energy on campus. From academics to athletics, and from our students to our alumni, Texas Tech continues to carry forward its tradition of innovation and success.
This year, the university and our college celebrated record-breaking enrollment among first-year students. Within the College of Health & Human Sciences, we welcomed 2,890 undergraduate and 657 graduate students. These numbers reflect the dynamic, hands-on experiences our faculty and staff provide, and the meaningful ways our departments and centers prepare students to improve and enhance the human condition.
I want to invite you to join us for our Homecoming Parade Watch Party on Friday, October 10, from 5:00–6:30 p.m. This is one of my favorite events of the year, as it brings so many of you—along with your families and friends—back to campus to reconnect and celebrate together. Please be sure your contact information is up to date using the link below so you won’t miss updates about this and other events throughout the year. Your feedback and questions are always welcome—feel free to reach out anytime.
