Welcome to the "Wet, Hot, Atlantan" summer! We blinked and it’s August already (and soon to be September). c21 kept busy last quarter with planning client events, creating content and being general bad@sses at our jobs.
From ribbon-cuttings, hosting seminars and putting on a truck rodeo — yes, you read that correctly — to volunteering at a food bank and celebrating a new c21er to-be, we have been hard at work to ensure our clients’ needs are met while balancing community and family.
Don’t get lulled by any false fall weather; the heat will return. Meanwhile, enjoy our Q3 newsletter and let us know how we can apply our expertise to better your business.

c21 has been hard at work refreshing our clients’ websites to better reflect their impact and strengthen connections to their target audience!
We kicked things off with the Hospitality Business Network Foundation (HBN) website, collaborating closely to build a site that highlights the power of membership, the impact of HBN’s donations and the connection to their core mission.

Next up, Isenberg & Hewitt, PC’s website received a complete redesign that focused on their unique services – supporting victims of crime. The new layout makes it easier for victims to find the help they need quickly, while presenting the legal team’s expertise in a professional, informative way.
We focused on education for the Lilburn Community Improvement District — creating a site that clearly explains what a CID is and how its projects benefit the Lilburn community. The result includes an updated project section, news and a new blog to showcase current and past initiatives.

|
|
Most recently, we launched Gateway85 Community Improvement District’s new website, which features a cleaner, more structured layout for its projects and showcases more videos of the transformative work the CID has completed.
Think your website could use a refresh? Contact c21 and let’s build something that reflects the best of your brand!

| GWBC: From Civic Duty to Client List
Our PR queen bee and CEO, Sharon Goldmacher, recently dropped some serious wisdom on the GWBC’s Accelerate Series panel: “How Civic Engagement Can Lead to Business.” Alongside three other powerhouse women, she dished on how board service, volunteering and sponsorships aren’t just good karma, they’re good for business. Sharon offered her expertise on how she turns community hustle into company growth, one connection at a time. Keep an eye out for another c21 and GWBC collab in October when we’ll talk all about Social Media Strategies.

Metro South CID Truck Rodeo
c21 saddled up for a truck rodeo with Metro South CID to put a planned roundabout design to the ultimate test. We arrived on the scene with cones, brought in the drones for aerial shots and — and after wrangling in the media — TV crews rolled in for coverage. Between bites of tacos from the La Escalera food truck, we watched fire trucks, 18-wheelers and more navigate the course for the “mane” event. Those who showed up wearing cowboy hats received bonus points!

| Gateway85: A Milestone You Can Walk On
When Gateway85 CID and Gwinnett County cut the ribbon on a brand-new 3,500-foot sidewalk along Crescent Drive, it wasn’t just a win for pedestrian safety — it was a showcase of how c21 makes big moments happen. From planning the event and coordinating every vendor (including a food truck dishing up tortillas from the district’s largest employer, Olé Mexican Foods) to securing media coverage, we handled the behind-the-scenes details, so the spotlight stayed focused on the milestone.

Cumberland CID: Paces Mill Palisades Gets the VIP Treatment
In June, we teamed up with Cumberland CID to cut the ribbon on phase one of the Paces Mill Palisades renovation. Along with planning a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony complete with speeches and giant scissors, we also created a family friendly event with burgers, fun outdoor games (inflatable skee-ball anyone?) and a community expo.
Take a look at our recap reel to get a feel for the event!

| Justice Served at the Isenberg & Hewitt Civil Justice Seminar
On August 13, the c21 team proudly partnered with Isenberg & Hewitt, P.C. and the National Crime Victim Bar Association for the Civil Justice for Victims of Crime in Georgia seminar at the Emory Conference Center Hotel. The event delivered powerful, practical insights on how the civil justice system can be a game-changing tool for victims and advocates.
From spotlighting the event on social media and the monthly newsletter to securing the venue, managing all the tech and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish, c21 made sure this important information reached the advocates who are the first line of defense for victims of crime.

Claymates for Life
In our last Communicator, we spilled the clay on our March outing to Atlanta Clay Works. Well guess what? We picked up our masterpieces this month and let’s just say... move over Michelangelo. Check out some of our fabulous (-ish) final products. Huge shoutout to our incredibly patient instructor who guided us through the chaos… we mean creativity.
Serving Up 16,000 Meals
In July, the c21 team swapped our computers for cardboard and rolled up our sleeves at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. We sorted, boxed and stacked our way through enough pantry items to help prep over 16,000 meals for families across Georgia. Nothing beats a day of teamwork, purpose and a few rogue cans of green beans.
From Pitches to Pacifiers
The c21 crew hit No.246 in downtown Decatur to celebrate Shayla before her newest (and tiniest) team member arrives. Between pastas, lattes and plenty of “aww’s”, we proved we can swap deadlines for baby talk - at least for an afternoon.

Three Birthdays, Zero Chill
|
|
|
Birthdays have been popping off at c21! We kicked things off in April with Emma leading the way, followed by team lunch at Ladybird on the Beltline for Shayla’s May birthday — because nothing says “Happy Birthday” like sunshine and yummy bites. Then Sydney wrapped it up in June by setting the birthday bar way too high, celebrating abroad in Italy! The fall will feature a few more team birthdays – so stay tuned!
