Adventure Through Serving
Serving at camp as college students made our faith genuine. It is what started our real desire to be a Christ-follower!
Through serving, we learn to die to ourselves daily and give our whole lives to following the Lord’s adventure for us instead of the adventures we create that lead further away from life.
As a newly-wed couple, we now get to adventure together as leaders, which is such a gift! We love serving and try to remind each other that we were created for it.
College has many choices of “adventure”. Students often seek “adventure” that can quickly consume them. Lamentations 3:22 says that because of the Lord and His love, we are not consumed. This truth is something we share with students as we seek adventure together that speaks to who we were made to be in Christ.
