Clemson's AI team completed its year of engagement in the 2024–25 American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) Institute on AI, Pedagogy, and the Curriculum. The cross-functional group surveyed instructors on AI use in teaching and delivered workshops and discussions that reached several hundred colleagues across campus.

Brandon Lockhart has been named acting chair of the Department of Finance. Since joining Clemson in 2013, Lockhart has held multiple leadership roles within the department while also being a Wells Fargo Faculty Scholar since 2016 and earning his full professorship in 2023.

On Monday, November 3, Clemson University will conduct an E-Learning Day continuity exercise. This exercise will occur at all teaching site locations across the state. On this day, while physical instructional site locations will not close, all face-to-face instruction should be moved to an online modality.
