4-H National Congress

From November 29 to December 3, McKinley K attended the National 4-H Congress in Atlanta, Georgia, an event celebrating leadership and community engagement. National 4-H Congress is a five-day educational experience held in Atlanta, GA. Congress is the premiere nation-wide event for 4-Hers to network with others from around the country, Canada, and Puerto Rico. While at Congress, 4-Hers engage in leadership, citizenship, global awareness, and inclusion.
McKinley participated in workshops, listened to motivational speakers, and volunteered at a local elementary school. Highlights included tours of the Civil Rights Museum, Georgia Aquarium, and the Atlanta History Center, where McKinley learned about local culture. The experience culminated in the 4-H Gala, a formal celebration of achievements. Meeting peers from across the nation made the trip unforgettable and a valuable part of McKinley’s 4-H journey. For more information about this opportunity, please visit: https://4h.extension.wisc.edu/opportunities/statewide-events-and-opportunities/national-4-h-congress/.
