Jim ’60 and Carolyn Willis Creel ’61 made a $2 million gift to name the Creel Family Auditorium in the Nieri Family Alumni and Visitors Center; check out the latest renovations to one of the University's high-rise residence halls.

Clemson University’s Fall Convocation for first-year and transfer students will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, August 18, at Littlejohn Coliseum. All faculty are encouraged to attend. The President's Cookout will follow from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Clemson recently marked the fourth and final year of its Studies of Occupations, Culture and Innovations toward Agricultural Literacy (SOCIAL) Academy. The academy seeks to provide teachers with tools to integrate agriculture and history in their curricula to help improve students’ agricultural literacy while exposing them to careers in the food and agricultural sciences.

In the latest Tour Tuesday, the University offers an inside look at the newly renovated Manning Hall, the second of three high-rises in the Horseshoe to be renovated. The high-rise now includes a fully accessible layout for students with mobility disabilities, enhanced social spaces, new furniture and more.

Get to know a little more about Cooper Library during drop-in tours at the start of the Fall semester. Tours are open to everyone and will highlight the various resources and services offered at the library, including the Learning Commons, the Adobe Studio and Makerspace, study spaces and more.
Beginning in January 2026, PEBA will transition to CVS Caremark as the State Health Plan’s pharmacy benefits manager. Previously, Express Scripts managed prescriptions for the State Health Plan. Health plan subscribers must confirm their address on file with PEBA before Monday, September 15, 2025, to ensure they receive their new cards.
