Good morning! Take note of several upcoming Workday cutover deadlines that impact hiring and payroll. Clemson faculty and students pitch research projects with real-world impact; A pair of twin visual arts majors set to graduate this week shares how Clemson has helped them grow as artists.

Heads up! Several Workday cutover deadlines are approaching.

May 15 is the last day to:

Initiate new hire requisitions in Tiger Talent.
Hire students or change current student employee data.
Request an international hire.
Submit approved volunteer or contingent worker requests.
Submit payroll-impacting transactions.

These actions may resume once Workday launches on July 1. A full list of Workday cutover deadlines is available on the Workday website.

Timeline with four dates: Starting with April 13 that reads Plan ahead and prioritize completion of necessary actions; May 1 reads Restrictions gradually begin on many systems and actions; May 29 reads Systems and actions begin to stop until go-live; July 1 reads Workday Go-Live!

Clemson University’s STRIDE ART (Accelerating Research Translation) Academy recently concluded its Spring 2026 cohort with a competitive pitch event at the Barnes Center.

The College of Architecture, Art and Construction has selected Ufuk Ersoy as its new Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs. Ersoy will play a central role in fostering a supportive and dynamic environment for faculty.

The College of Education held a Rural Community Well-Being Summit last month, featuring a keynote speaker and a panel discussion that brought together faculty and staff experts in rural education, outreach and health.
