Summer Academy Registration Extended to May 10

Summer Academy is the Positive Youth Development Institute’s signature career, leadership, & college readiness conference hosted at UW-Madison. The event focuses on preparing young people (grades 8-11) for higher education in a way that complements formal education prep programs. This year’s theme is Charge your Sparks; Summer Academy is committed to helping youth discover their passions by providing the inspiration and charge to keep their battery full! Participants will take a deep dive into a college and/or career focus of their choice through tracks offered by both UW-Madison and Madison College, and will have many opportunities to network with faculty, students, recent graduates, and peers from across the state.
The registration fee covers all lodging, meals, track participation, and in-town travel during the event. Statewide bussing to and from the event will be offered for an additional fee.

4-H Summer Intern Position

We are hiring a 4-H Summer Intern, which is a paid position funded by the Fond du Lac County 4-H Leaders Association!

The 4-H Summer Intern would be responsible for helping plan, promote and facilitate summer programs throughout Fond du Lac County. This may include Summer Day Camps, Project Workshops, promotional events, and more. If you enjoy working with youth and have experience in Positive Youth Development, please apply. Knowledge of 4-H is preferred, but not required.
