Poster to Communicate Abuse Prevention Rules |
When staff and volunteers are working with youth, there are four key rules we recommend every organization implements: no inappropriate touch or language, no alone time, no favoritism, and no outside contact between children and staff. We have developed posters for your organization to post throughout your facilities. These posters send a signal to staff, volunteers, kids, parents, and the wider community that you’re committed to a culture where boundaries are respected.

New Micro-Learning: Identifying Medical Events |
This summer, we have seen multiple medical events occurring in pools. In our new micro-learning, we discuss who is at risk for a medical event, common behaviors guards can look for, and key recommendations to help support lifeguards in their role. We encourage you to distribute this to your lifeguards as a quick refresher, so they can identify and respond to medical events quickly.
