Our main pool and pool house will be closed for replastering Aug. 24 - Sept. 20. Our Oasis Pool will be available for member use during this time; please check the Y app for availability. Oasis Pool bathrooms and a mobile bathroom trailer will be available for our pickleball and volunteer gardening community. Pickleball players should check in at the main building front desk for court wristbands during the pool closure. Thank you for your patience as we advance our facilities.

The pool will close at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2 for our inaugural Taylor Oscars for the aquatics staff.
An after-hours pool party will be held for our Taylor Storm Swim Team on Aug. 9 from 6 - 7:15 p.m. Their season-end banquet will be in Gym 3 from 4 - 6 p.m.

Each summer, WakeEd’s Tools4Schools program provides free classroom supplies to nearly 11,000 Wake County Public School teachers, and through Aug. 21, Wake County YMCAs support the effort as donation sites where the community can drop off new, unused supplies.

Learn about our Middle School and High School Leaders Club programs on Tues., Sept. 1 from 6 - 6:30 p.m. in the Alaska Room at the Taylor Family Y. Leaders Club is a year-long leadership-development program, teaching teens leadership through service and fun.

YMCA youth swim lessons help children ages 6 – 12 build water safety, confidence and lifelong swimming skills. With year-round classes for all levels and low instructor-to-swimmer ratios, swimmers can progress at their own pace. Member registration opens Aug. 1 for fall lessons!
