NE Panhandle Arts Conference

Thursday, July 25th in Scottsbluff, NE

The Nebraska Arts Council is sponsoring the conference for arts professionals including artists, volunteers and administrators. The conference is designed to provide inspiration, networking opportunities, hands-on workshops, and artist showcases.

Saying Goodbye: Sen. Don Pederson (12/23/1928 – 06/02/2019)

As a legislator and chair of the Appropriations Committee, Don guided the legislation that created the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, which provides the arts and humanities additional funds.  We are grateful for all that Don did to help Nebraska, and we are even more thankful to have been able to call him a friend.

$1 Million in Grants to Support Community Reading Programs 

78 organizations across the nation will have the opportunity to come together through the joy of sharing a good book.
The latest NEA Big Read grants total more than $1 million and will support community reading projects in 31 states.
