Our theme this year, Bridge to the Future, came to life throughout the conference. From groundbreaking research presentations, to the engaging poster session and industry partner tables, to the powerful story of Zoey and seeing the truck(!), to bowling with family and new friends. It was a magical weekend that will fuel the future of UCD care.
Families heard directly from leading physicians, researchers, and clinicians about the latest advances in UCD care and research. But something just as important happened: researchers heard directly from the people living this journey every day.
That is the unique role NUCDF plays.
We bring cutting-edge research directly to families, and we bring the lived experiences of families directly to the researchers, clinicians, and industry partners working to shape the future of UCD care. Every question asked, every story shared, and every connection made helps ensure that research reflects the real needs of our community.
Whether you were with us in person or couldn't make it this year, I hope these photos and videos remind you that you are an important part of this community.
