College of Human Sciences E-Viewpoints Newsletter
May 2018
Alumni and Friends,
Welcome to the latest issue of E-Viewpoints, the newsletter of the Texas Tech University College of Human Sciences! As the spring semester comes to an end, we are preparing for graduation and a summer full of learning both on campus and off. We will have several summer camps hosted in the college. You can read more about those in the story below.

Several years ago we directed our efforts towards developing international relationships and fostering opportunities for students to study abroad. Last month the college was honored to receive the Texas Tech Office of International Affairs’ Campus Internationalization Award. Several members of our faculty recently received awards at the Faculty Honors Convocation. We are fortunate to have such talented teachers and researchers in the college, celebrating the opening of the Department of Nutritional Sciences’ Nutrition and Metabolic Health Initiative (NMHI) was another recent highlight.  NMHI opened this spring and provides nutritional counseling and services to Lubbock and the surrounding communities. It is wonderful to see this vision come to fruition.

Thank you for taking the time to read about the happenings in the College of Human Sciences. I encourage you to share your news as well.
