Stop by “The School of Memory” for an interactive display of projects inspired by the Liberal Studies “Arts and Cultures of Modernity” fall residency with artist Héctor Álvarez and the ICA. Projects engage family history and historical narrative to look critically at past and present through photography, film, screenplays, magazines and more. In this workshop, independent creator ZHU Lina, whose long-term practice explores fabric and the body through creation and fieldwork, will share stories from her engagements with cloth in different communities.
