Student Stories:

What's it like living on campus?

The fall semester is well underway, and our students at ACC, UCCS, and UNC are settling into their rhythm of classes, homework, and ongoing studying. But we know that college is about more than academics and students are navigating many other components, such as socialization and independent living. Inclusive higher education programs work to support students in each of these areas and offer guidance through all the transitions. One of the big transitions students face is living on campus. Hear from current and past UNC GOAL students about what it's like to live on campus and grow in independence. To hear more student stories, check out IN!'s youtube channel here

Sponsor Spotlight:

We want to give a special shout out to arc Thrift Stores for their corporate sponsorship of the Croquet Soiree fundraiser and their ongoing commitment to inclusivity! The arc not only donated to support the cause but are also bringing an entire croquet team to participate in the tournament. One of their players, Elnaz, is a recent graduate from Elevate at ACC and has since been hired to work at the corporate offices of arc Thrift Stores to pursue her goal of being an office assistant. We are so grateful for the amazing work they do and their continued support of college pathways!
