Teaching Art in a Pandemic And Making it Work!
When our church art group faced the reality of classes coming to an end during the pandemic, Anita Vrionides, St. Luke’s savvy art instructor, simply chose to move classes outdoors. On rainy days her garage offered a warm welcome and became the favored spot for sharing news and spreading paint. On sunny days, she gathered the class at neighboring parks to paint God’s vivid colors and rejoice in the spring sunshine.
As campus activities increase this spring, Anita’s art class will be returning to paint indoors once again, perhaps even adding an outdoor adventure now and then. The class location and further details will soon be available.
