Explore with Around the World Camp |
Get ready for an exciting global adventure! Pack your bags and grab your passports as we explore different cultures from around the world. Campers will engage in a variety of activities, including sports and geography games, listening to music from different countries, creating cultural crafts, and savoring traditional foods. Each day, youth will visit one country in the morning and another in the afternoon, collecting a total of 6 passport stamps by the end of the camp. In addition to these activities, campers will learn about the history, customs, and languages of the countries they visit.

4-H Youth Leader Austyn invites youth to a hands-on Drawing Cats Workshop focused on building drawing skills and adding detail through shading and blending techniques. Participants will learn how to draw cats step by step from start to finish, explore how shading and blending add depth, and discover ways to make each drawing unique with their own creative details. Youth will be able to add color with a medium of their choice at home. This guided workshop offers plenty of room for personal style and creativity.
All drawing materials will be provided, and youth will leave with ideas for adding color and extra details at home. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend. There is no cost for this workshop, but registration is required.

Agriculture in Action at the Library |
The Campbellsport Public Library is partnering with the Envision Greater Fond du Lac Agricultural Ambassador Program and the Agri Business Council to bring hands-on agricultural learning opportunities to the community next week.
From Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 8, the library will host traveling agricultural exhibits designed to educate and engage visitors of all ages. The exhibits will be available between 9 am and 6 pm each day. The library is located at 220 N. Helena Street, Campbellsport.
Community members are invited to drop in and explore interactive activities such as the Dairy Trivia Game, Make the Match Game, and an educational display titled “What Do We Make from Milk?” These activities are designed to be both fun and informative, helping participants better understand Wisconsin’s agricultural industry and its impact on everyday life.

Urgent Help Needed: 4‑H Adult Leader Food Stand Committee |
The 4‑H Adult Leader Food Stand is one of our largest sources of funding for countywide programs, events, and 4‑H scholarships — and right now, we need help to keep it running.
Several long‑time leaders have stepped back, and we are looking for 4–5 adults (or more!) to join the Food Stand Committee. No one is expected to do everything. Tasks are divided, checklists and past notes exist, and support is built in.
Ways you can help (choose just one!):
|
-
Assist with ordering food or supplies
- Help with money handling (with a partner)
- Submit health department paperwork
- Serve as a fair‑week shift supervisor (help workers, answer questions, jump in as needed)
|
Even helping with one piece makes a huge difference — and extra hands mean shorter, more manageable commitments for everyone. More details can also be found at https://fonddulac.extension.wisc.edu/4h-fundraiser-help/
Without enough volunteers, this fundraiser — and the programs it supports — is at risk.
Please step up or reach out to learn more:
Jennifer Ladwig - jaladwig73@hotmail.com or 920-266-8041
One role. One step. A big impact for our 4‑H youth.

The premium book is now available on the Fair’s website: http://www.fonddulaccountyfair.com.
A committee of dedicated volunteers spent a significant amount of time and effort reviewing and updating the premium book with the goal of creating excitement and attracting additional youth exhibitors by refreshing and modernizing entry options. This process included adding more current and relevant entry options, while removing entries that have become outdated over time.
As part of the review process, exhibitor premiums were also increased to further support and encourage participation.
