FIRST YEAR COMMUTER PREP DAY: FOOD & FRIENDS

New students who will be commuting to campus for the 17-18 academic year are invited to attend a Commuter Preview Day on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 11am. Students should park in the South Campus Garage (501 S Campus) - we will provide free garage exits if needed. Please see the 2017-18 Parking Map if needed.

We will meet in front of the Garage at 11am (on the Campus Avenue side, near the entrance sign) and move on from there. Email obrienjc@miamioh.edu if you arrive late, to find out where we are.

What we'll be doing:

Apply for and receive parking passes in hand. Note that no payment is required - the cost of your pass will be added to your bursar bill.
Tour the Commuter Center
Register for Commuter Center lockers (free)
Answer your questions
Learn about the BCRTA Transit system (buses) and parking
Walk uptown for lunch
Practice riding the bus

What to Bring:

Wear comfortable shoes and clothes, as we will be walking uptown (about a 10 minute walk).
Student ID Card
Make and model of the car you'll be driving to campus this fall, as well as your license plate number
Cash or credit card for lunch
Note paper and pen for notes
