Stay up-to-date on happenings throughout the Free Will Baptist denomination with this week's NAFWB News. Read below the exciting things going on in our national ministries.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

In a little over a week, thousands of Free Will Baptists will descend on Tampa for the 2024 National Convention. It promises to be a week of worship, encouragement, and fellowship.

Plan to Participate

Whether you are attending as a pastor, delegate, or layperson, or if you are joining us online, plan to participate in the events of the week. Download the Convention Program to see the full schedule. The Vertical Three Conference Directory includes all of the CTS Ministry Expo information.

Worship services will be streamed live on the NAFWB Facebook and at nafwb.org each evening at 7:00 PM EDT.

Business begins Tuesday at 1:30 PM EDT. Reports from national departments and commissions will be streamed live online. Be an active participant in business and find out how God is working through our denomination by reading through the Digest of Reports.

Over ninety seminars (in English and Spanish) will be presented throughout the week aimed to equip pastors and laypeople for all aspects of ministry and life. See the full seminar schedule to make plans to attend them.

Services and business will also be streamed and translated in Spanish on the Asociación Nacional Bautista Libre (Libre Albedrío) Facebook. If you are attending in person, please read and share this important information with others: La traducción al español en la Convención Nacional.

Plan to Give

We are encouraging churches and families to give generously to the National Convention as we work to equip pastors and congregations with all of the opportunities the week has to offer. Plan to give generously to convention offerings throughout the week either in person or online (using the QR code provided).

You can also plan to give to the missions offering during the Wednesday night service, benefitting both IM and North American Ministries.

Plan to Enjoy

(and Make an Impact)

Free Will Baptists have a great opportunity to leave a lasting impression on the city of Tampa. Through Impact Tampa service projects and interactions with staff and employees in the city, let's each do our part to make that impression a positive one.

The convention is a great week to catch up with old friends and meet new ones, get renewed and refreshed for our ministry, and get encouraged about what God is doing among us. Enjoy your time in Tampa as we endeavor together to be "Doers of the Word."

There is still opportunity to be part of the worship team for the 2024 National Convention. Information regarding participating in the convention choir or orchestra can be found at the links below:

A kids choir for ages 4-12 will also be available throughout the week. The kids choir will sing with the convention choir in the Wednesday night service, and will sing before the CTS Awards Ceremony. Find the rehearsal schedule and songs at https://www.fwbkids.club/.
