When I pull into campus every day, I count my blessings. We are so grateful your student has become a part of our community. On a daily basis, I witness acts of kindness and students taking care of each other, and I know our students will make a difference in the workforce after graduation. Our Student Government Association Officers (Fred Miller, Olivia Stanton, Devin Stanley, and Danny Kruzel) are truly the Fantastic Four and greeted our special guests on Sibs N' Kids weekend.
The campus has been a flurry of activity, and it doesn't seem possible, but we have reached the midway point. Spring break has arrived, and Lourdes students are traveling all across the country. Some students are returning home, others are participating in athletics, while others are traveling on a mission trip.
Please check in with your student to see if he/she is ready to finish the second half of the semester strong. Midterm grades should be posted by Tuesday afternoon, March 6. Encourage your student to login and review grades. Advising Week starts on March 12. Please confirm with your student that he/she has already scheduled an appointment with his/her advisor. Work with your student to ensure he/she does not have an account hold. Make sure to encourage your student to apply for scholarships for the 2018-2019 school year. The General Scholarship Applications is due by March 28.
Below are a few highlights of recent campus activities.
