Distribution Schedule: Monday - Friday | 10AM - 4PM I 5th Floor, West Building

You can still place orders or submit verification requests for required textbooks on the textbooks website before Friday, September 13. For physical textbook pick-up and verification, please go to the distribution sessions on the 5th floor of the West Building. Electronic books will be distributed through email directly. Beijing: Collaborative Art Practices and Art Spaces

In this experience, led by Visual Arts professor Monika Lin, participants will collaborate with factory workers. "Community Narratives" is a collaborative printmaking activity that focuses on everyday objects as symbols of memories, place, and identity. This trip also includes guided visits to art spaces, featuring discussions and reflections with the professor and artists throughout.

Liuhe Village, Jiangsu: Activating Urban-Rural Connectors

This trip is led by IMB Professors Yanyue Yan and Nicole Wang. Explore the unique history and culture of this former fishing village by meeting with village leaders and local residents, enjoy local food and scenery, and participate in a design thinking project. You will get to exercise your empathy, creative problem-solving, teamwork, and presentation skills in real-world scenarios.

✈️ Reading Efficiently for GPS

This workshop will cover efficient reading strategies for GPS, for your reading groups and beyond. We will learn some comprehension strategies for before, during, and after the reading process, using excerpts from Weeks 2 and 3. There will also be time to reflect on and formulate higher level questions for your assigned reading groups with ARC fellows.

IT Announcement

Smarter Lighting Control in Classrooms

To make it easier to adjust the classroom lighting, the multimedia control panel in the classroom now allows control of the lights. If teaching in a small classroom, pressing "On" on the button panel to turn on the classroom equipment will simultaneously turn off the front row lights and switch the lighting to presentation mode. If teaching in a large classroom or lecture hall, you can use the small lightbulb button on the multimedia control panel to access the lighting control page to adjust the lights.
