And just like that, it's February!
Congratulations on successfully navigating January without a single expletive or a sideways glance directed at your snow shovel.
As your reward, you'll be granted an extra day in February.
Punxsutawney Phil is predicting an it'll-be-here-before-you-know-it spring, and who can complain about that?!
We look forward to seeing you this spring,
April 1st (no foolin') through May 10th,
as you become Engaged, Enriched, and Enlightened in 2024.
Registration opens March 4th!

Resolution list
Resolution solutions
How are your 2024 resolutions coming along? What tops your lofty goals this year? May we make a few suggestions?

1. Learn something new
2. Broaden your horizons
3. Take a virtual or hybrid class

4. Share what you know by teaching
5. Volunteer

Accomplish all of these goals and more by enrolling in ILR this spring. We'll put you on the path to a fun and fulfilling year.

It's coming...

And with this sneak peek, our excitement is overflowing. In just a few short weeks, the ILR Spring 2024 Catalog will land in your mailbox. You'll need your muscles; it's a bit heavier than the catalogs of the past 27 years because this will be our largest semester to date.
If you've previously participated in ILR or requested our catalog via our website form within the past three years, you're already on our mailing list. Not yet on our mailing list? Request a catalog here.

Generous thanks

ILR continues to fulfill its mission, thanks to the generous support from individual donors and businesses serving as sponsors or advertisers. We are delighted to announce that Berkeley Square is once again sponsoring ILR's spring semester and will host an exclusive tour of their beautiful community for our members and non-members. Tour sign-ups will take place during ILR's normal semester registration.
Since 1997, our focus has been on creating a positive impact in the lives of lifelong learners within our community and beyond. We express our sincere gratitude to Berkeley Square and all our supporters for placing their trust in us as we strive to make a meaningful difference.

Pre-semester events coming soon!

These two pre-semester events will have a separate registration, opening soon. These events are available to ILR members and non-members. Seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Winding through the Windy City

Program #21908, A Road Scholar Learning Adventure for ILR
Winding Through the Windy City: Art & Architecture in Chicago
September 15-20, 2024
Thrilling and serene. Tough and sophisticated. Chicago is a city of contrasts best understood through its art and architecture. We’ll be on the go with a small group of fellow explorers as we visit a range of neighborhoods with an architecture expert to see how the city’s evolution is told through its buildings. Then we’ll venture outside the city to learn about the life and work of Frank Lloyd Wright, as we visit his Prairie-style home and studio. Learn more.
