Honors student Helen Bailey was named a Truman Scholarship finalist, the premier scholarship for aspiring public service leaders in the United States. An environmental and natural resources major, Bailey was one of 201 finalists from 137 colleges and universities nationwide.

When graphic communications alum Elizabeth McElveen ’99 was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, she rediscovered a childhood passion—puzzling. Today, that passion, along with her graphic communications degree, helps McElveen raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Association in honor of her mother.

Sabrina Greenlee, the mother of NFL All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, will read from her debut memoir at the Brooks Center Recital Hall (room 117) Wednesday, March 5. Registration is required to attend the event, which is free and open to the public.
