This interactive program will start with an opportunity to speak with admission representatives from various GW graduate programs to learn more about application timelines and different specialized programs in each school, including:
  • GW Med School Dean of Admissions

  • GW PA admissions

  • GW PT admission

  • GW MPH and BS/MPH

  • School of Nursing

  • Post Bac Program for Career Changers:  Pre-Medicine

Starting at 6:15 pm, students will be directed to break-out rooms in which panelists will discuss tips and advice on how to research, narrow down choices, and best present yourself when looking at and applying to competitive graduate school programs.

Undergraduate Data Specialist Position in the Trauma Services Program at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center is seeking undergraduate students who can provide part-time support for program evaluation and program development projects.  Tasks include assisting with coordination of data gathering, chart reviews for extraction of data, interactions with patients to gather program feedback data, and data entry.

Peer Education Program-Sign Up Today!
Are you interested in making a difference on campus? Are you passionate about promoting health and wellness among your peers? If yes, consider joining the GW Peer Education Program!
Developed in the 2016-2017 academic year by the Colonial Health Center (CHC), Title IX Office, and the Center for Career Services, the program is designed for students who want to make a difference on campus by focusing on health and wellness and the primary prevention of interpersonal violence such as sexual assault and relationship abuse. Specifically, Peer Educators work with department staff to develop educational campaigns, assist with program development, facilitate outreach programs, and more. Peer Educators will become leaders on campus and help create a healthy GW community!
We are currently seeking a dynamic group of applicants for the upcoming group of peer educators to begin in spring 2018. If interested, students are asked to fill out an application online at go.gwu.edu/peereducators by October 22, 2017. Revamped Pre-Health Advising!: The Pre-Health Advising website is refreshed, revived, and ready to help you achieve your pre-med/dental goals! The new Pre-Health advisors will also meet with students from ALL years, as long as they have attended a Pre-Health Info Session first. RSVP now and begin your HPAC journey!
HPAC Workshop
As a reminder, if you wish to go through HPAC during the upcoming application cycle (2018), you must meet with a pre-health advisor at least once during the fall semester (before December 22nd, 2017). This is a strict deadline and appointment availability can be limited, so please plan accordingly!

Start your registration early! Anytime between 10:00 AM ET on October 12 and 5:00 PM ET on October 17, you will be able to fill out the necessary background and biographical information, as well as complete the necessary consent forms in the MCAT Registration System. You will not be able to select your date and location at this time.
