Set Deadline Grant Programs Open for FY18

(Omaha, Nebraska) – Arts Project Grant, Arts Learning Grant and Artists in Schools/Communities grant programs are now accepting applications for activities from January 1 to June 30, 2019. 

The deadline to apply is 11:59 PM on Monday, October 1, 2018.


INSTRUCTIONS

Access the NAC online grants system by clicking here. You will select 'Create New Account.'  Once you finish answering the questions, you will choose a password. After your account is set up, you will receive an email from the system welcoming you to the online grants system.


WHAT ARE THESE PROGRAMS?

Artists in Schools & Communities Sponsor Grants (AiS/C)

Program supports NAC Roster Artist residencies that include at least 20 contact hours with participants. During residencies, artists share their expertise and work with teachers or staff to help students achieve educational goals in the arts and other academic disciplines. Special note: The set deadline for AiS/C grant program is for requests over $2,500 per artist.


Arts Project Grants (APG)

Supports arts programming, productions or events open to the general public. Support is limited to an arts project taking place within a defined period of time. The program or event may have multiple components and/or performances.

Arts Learning Project Grants (ALG)

For programs with a strong educational emphasis that may take place in pre-K-12 schools or in community settings outside of schools. Projects should involve a sequential arts education curriculum. Projects that are based in schools must address Nebraska state educational learning standards in the arts and may also be aligned with standards in other disciplines.
