Meet Belinda Person, Customer Service Representative and Artist |
Anyone who has gone through the onboarding process at Georgia Tech in the last year may have interacted with Belinda Person. She is one of several customer service representatives in the Administrative Services Center, the front door for all Human Resources and IT inquiries, which launched last fall. She is also an artist whose works have been shown in gallery and museum exhibitions.

| | Robert Foy Selected to Lead Georgia Tech Research Corporations

Following a national search, the Georgia Institute of Technology has selected Robert Foy as its executive director of business operations and general manager of the Georgia Tech Research Corporation (GTRC) and the Georgia Tech Applied Research Corporation (GTARC). Foy, who has served as interim general manager for the two research corporations since 2022, begins his new permanent role immediately.

| BioSpark Labs Continues to Grow in Support of Life Sciences Research

BioSpark Labs, a collaborative, shared laboratory environment designed to enable life sciences and biotech startups, recently completed a $6 million expansion and, in celebration, the team is hosting an open house on Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 4 to 6 p.m. Guests are encouraged to RSVP by Friday, Sept. 8.

| Hertz Launches Electric Vehicle Pilot Program for Georgia Tech Employees

Georgia Tech announces a partnership with Hertz for an electric vehicle pilot program exclusive to Georgia Tech employees. The 90-day rental program, which runs from Sept.1 to Nov. 30, will support the business travel needs of Institute employees.
