This is achieved through activities such as speaker events, film screenings, organized discussions, advocacy campaigns, and fundraising. We are open to all undergraduate students. For more information check out our Instagram @friendsmsf_gwu or email us at gwufomsf@gmail.com. Our first general body meeting is September 23rd at 7 pm in USC 302!

GW ALCSI (American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative)
The American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative (ALCSI) is a 501c(3) non-profit organization of a team of over 200 doctors and students working to promote the early detection of lung cancer and lung cancer screening in communities across the country. Our mission is to improve the rate of lung cancer screenings for high-risk patients and reduce the rate of lung cancer through outreach efforts.
One of our biggest upcoming events include the Breathe Deep Together LUNGevity Walk/Run 2024 from 9 AM to 12 PM on October 26th, 2024. Lung cancer is a critical health issue, and early detection can save lives. By participating in this walk/run, we aim to raise awareness and funds to support this important cause.
