Surf Boys High School Provisional

If your high school-aged son needs a team for spring season and would like to play on one of our provisional teams, we will be forming 2 teams for the spring! The coaches will be Will Sutton and Devin Frampton. Priority will be given to Utah Surf players but players from other clubs are also welcome if we have spots available!

Utah Surf teams closed out National League - Desert Conference League with Utah Surf 07 BH and Utah Surf 10 JR earning first place in their respective divisions!

Both teams will advance to Far West Regionals in Boise in June. They have also earned a spot in National League P.R.O. for the 2023-2024 season.

CONGRATS LADIES!!

Also HUGE CONGRATS to Utah Surf 07 BH on winning their group in National Leage P.R.O. They have earned an automatic bid to compete at US Youth Nationals in Florida in July!

Last Month, Surf Directors travelled to San Diego, CA to join Surf Nation's 48 affiliates from across the nation for Surf Summit 2023. Such a cool opportunity to learn and brainstorm ideas with directors and coaches from so many different regions around the world! One breakout session in particular had Surf coaches from various clubs across the nation but who were originally from Canada, Serbia, England, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Argentina, Sweden and the USA! We'll be taking some of those thoughts and ideas and implementing them in our coach education in the coming months as we prepare for the future! Surf Nation leaders announced a new uniform provider (see next section) that will hopefully give us more flexibility. We'll be meeting with Surf Nation and SoccerPost in the coming months to discuss details as we head into the next tryout cycle. That being said:

2023/2024 Kit sneak peek:

Some of our Utah Surf players had the opportunity to attend the Surf Select National tryouts in San Diego and Lathrop, CA! They are competing to earn a spot on either the blue or white national team rosters in their respective age groups. Surf Select national teams will travel to events in Spain, Northern Ireland, England, Brazil, California and Florida! Selected players will be announced next week! This year, we were also able to launch the Surf Select Mountain Region program, giving player soccer opportunities outside of their primary teams. The aims of these programs are to help players get out of their comfort zones, make new connections and allows for exposure to different coaching styles and experiences.
