Completing the Registration Agreement Hold

Amy Foley, Outreach Program Manager
Beginning with summer 2016 registration, all students will need to complete a Registration Agreement before they are able to register for classes. Until this is completed, students will see a Registration Agreement Hold in their Student Center account. This replaces the Disted Drop/Refund Policy Agreement that students accepted in previous semesters. Students will need to complete this Registration Agreement every semester.

Spring Graduation and Distance Education Reception

The spring 2016 commencement ceremonies will take place Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7. Join us in celebrating your accomplishment along with your fellow graduates! For ceremony dates and times, please see the DLC graduation webpage.
You and your guests are also invited to join DLC staff and instructors for a Distance Education Reception on Friday, May 6. Stop by anytime between 4-6:00 p.m. to enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres, meet staff and other graduates, and have your photo taken with your guests.
Please R.S.V.P. and let us know whether or not you plan to attend your ceremony and/or the reception by March 31. This will also ensure that your name gets in the commencement program and that we have enough food for the reception.

Douglas Stephens recognized as a 2015 Outstanding Alumni

Douglas Stephens with Chancellor Dennis J. Shields
BSAD alumnus Douglas Stephens was recognized as an Outstanding Alumni at December's commencement ceremony. Stephens received a degree in industrial engineering from UW-Platteville in 2001, and then completed his business administration degree through the university’s Distance Education program in 2004.
It's March Matchness!
Throughout March, we will be asking for your help in supporting distance education programs and scholarships.
As part of the Ruth Miller Scholarship Challenge, the DLC Alumni Board is hosting March Matchness. We're calling on supporters of distance education to donate and to get their employers in on the action by seeking a company match for your gift. The money raised will help provide scholarships, new program development, and more opportunities to enhance distance education.
