| Welcome back, friends!
This week, we continue to inspect the arts landscape in and around Springfield. If you are a data-driven person, the newly released the 2026 Community Focus Report is a wonderful tool to see where our local arts are thriving and where they need work. We will explore the findings and learn more about the biennial report.
I'll also be catching up with local folk-pop act The Shandies, made up of Natalie Wlodarczyk and Shannon Stine. We discuss their new album, “First Born.” The 13-song album embodies their experiences as firstborn daughters and the responsibilities surrounding that role.
It is an absolute honor to be so close to the arts community. Thank you for joining me in The Green Room!
Let's do it!
