Illuminate your night at the Bay of Hong Kong Culture Show |
Join the Hong Kong Student Association 香港學生會 for the 2024 Annual Culture Show: The Bay of Hong Kong 香港之灣, featuring musical guest, Sunkis! At night, the Bay of Hong Kong is transformed into a glittering panorama of lights, with skyscrapers illuminating the vibrant city. Amidst this dazzling spectacle, experience the cultural dances, songs, traditions, and savory foods that define the city's essence. Embark on a journey of a disheartened medical student who becomes entangled in a mythical predicament, leaving us to ponder whether the bonds of friendship alone can rescue Hong Kong from spiraling into chaos.
Experience the rippling waves of the Hong Kong Bay on Saturday, Mar. 2 at the Smith Memorial Student Union Ballroom. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show will officially start at 6 p.m. Limited tickets only; don’t miss the opportunity to see Sunkis!

Strike out stress at the winter bowling tournament |
Roll into fun and enjoy free bowling at Campus Rec’s winter term Bowling Tournament this Thursday, Feb. 29 from 7 - 9 p.m! Each team will bowl two games and the team with the highest combined score will win Intramural champ t-shirts. This tournament is limited to six teams of five bowlers, so sign up early. Open to PSU students, faculty, and staff with a valid PSU ID.

Help choose a new leader for academic advising |
Student input is needed in the hiring of a new leader for academic advising. The search committee has narrowed the final candidates down to three and would like students to attend some interview sessions and provide feedback on each candidate. Attend one, two or all sessions — coffee and tea will be provided!

Students can participate in university budget decision-making |
More than 280 PSU faculty, staff and students participated in the 2024 Winter Budget Forum on Wednesday, Feb. 21, which included a presentation about the current budget challenges facing the university and a participatory budgeting activity. Recordings of the presentations and of the discussion groups can be found on the university’s Budget Planning for Long-Term Financial Stability webpage. Students are encouraged to participate in budget decisions by watching the forum and using the Balancing Act tool demonstrated during the event.
