Fundraiser attendees are challenged to donate to help artists “unlock” the supplies needed to finish the artwork during the three hour live stream. This round will be moderated by Emcee Mista Funn, who provides check-in interviews with the artists throughout the competition. Viewers will also have a chance to hear live music from Jared and Amber Humphries and participate in Mind Mapping led by Cindy Robinson of The Kid Factory.
All donations from the event will support Paint Love’s youth programming and will help bring hundreds of hours of art to more than 2,000 Atlanta area students in 2020. Paint Love’s programming engages youth who have experienced a range of trauma and provides creative experiences to empower them to imagine a future not limited by any adversity.

About Paint Love
Paint Love, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides Title 1 schools and youth-focused nonprofits with projects that are artist-led and specially designed to meet trauma-informed standards. Paint Love’s mission is for all young people to have access to creative experiences that empower them to develop inner strength and imagine a future not limited by adversity. Paint Love was founded in 2014 by Atlanta artist Julie McKevitt, who recognized the strong therapeutic benefits art has on students and realized there was a lack of artistic resources accessible to the youth who needed it most. Since its inception, Paint Love has enjoyed fulfilling its mission by bringing art classes and donations to organizations through metro Atlanta free of charge.
