Light From The Bluff
April 2020 - Holy Week Edition
Dear Light from The Bluff readers,
As we approach a Holy Week that looks very different from what we are used to, we draw comfort from the hope of the Resurrection and in the care that our Pilot family shows every day.
We will continue to send this faith newsletter each month, as well as a few bonus issues to share timely resources. This week, we wanted to pass along some ideas from the UP community that can help in your celebration of Holy Week and Easter.
Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. As always, don’t hesitate to reach out if there is anything we can do to support you.
Sincerely,
The Office of Alumni & Parent Relations

Good Friday Meditation
The UP Garaventa Center has published this beautiful video utilizing the form of prayer called “Visio Divina," which means "sacred seeing." The video combines a contemplative reading of St. Luke's account of the Passion of Christ with an illumination of the Crucifixion from The Saint John's Bible, as well as peaceful harp music by Maureen Briare, Associate Director for Liturgical Music.
Be on the lookout for an Easter Resurrection video coming soon from the Garaventa Center. You can also listen to regularly updated harp music from Maureen Briare.
