PORTLAND EVENTS
  • UO Portland Sports Product Design is looking for students to participate in the Size North America study. Sign up and get paid $20 from April 3–17.
  • The Green Business Initiative Student Association and the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Center are holding "Charging Forward: the Future of Energy in Oregon," a symposium discussing energy, technology, policy, and consumer interaction on Friday, April 13.
  • There will be hundreds of free and low cost events and open houses during Design Week Portland from April 14–21.

  • The HOPES Conference explores the relationship between ecology and design and looks for sustainable solutions to contemporary problems on April 15, part of Design Week Portland.
  • What is Universe? examines communication, complexity, coherence and "a pluralistic universe" from April 19–21.
  • Br/dges TEDx Portland is on April 21 at the Keller Auditorium.
