Jesse Update!

Sweet Jesse is doing amazing in her foster home!  Her foster is spoiling her... and it shows in her weight gain.  Jesse seems to be progressing really wel.  She has just recently started eating meat-flavored baby food out of the bowl on her own, and she is learning the art of the litter box.  She is not quite ready to be adopted, but will be in the next couple of weeks.  We are accepting applications for her on www.spcamhc.org.
Make a Donation for Jesse!
We are cordially inviting everyone to visit the SPCA for our first ever Blessing of the Animals.  On Saturday, October 20th Reverand Kameron Wilds of Smith Memorial United Methodist Church will be leading a blessing for all animals, past and present, and animal lovers alike.  Luminaries may be purchased prior and the day of the event; White bags will be available for $10 and gold bags are $25.  You may purchase your bag up to the service at 7:30pm.  Our shelter will be open for normal business hours Saturday from 10am - 4pm, then we will close briefly and reopen at 6pm for shelter tours.  You are more than welcome to bring your fur babies to the service, however they will be required to be leashed, and limited to our conference space and outdoor areas.  Please do call the shelter if you have any questions about this event at 276-638-7297.
