 Aman Chauhan, MD will be the featured guest for CCF's Luncheon with the Experts Facebook LIVE series on Thursday, January 28 from 12 noon to 1 pm, Eastern Time.

Aman Chauhan, MD, is Director of NET Theranostics at UK Markey Cancer Center in Kentucky. A medical oncologist, Dr. Chauhan’s clinical interests include treating NETs, including carcinoid tumors, high-grade neuroendocrine carcinomas, and small and non-small cell lung cancer. Dr. Chauhan completed a Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP) physician externship at the National Cancer institute (NCI) that focused on designing clinical trials and clinical research projects. Dr. Chauhan was selected to join NET Connect, an international organization that brings NET experts together and includes strategic support from a steering committee of established leaders in the field.
This Facebook LIVE event will be hosted by Rain Bennett, a longtime CCF filmmaker and dear friend of the NET community. To view the program come to CCF's Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/Carcinoid/, at noon Eastern Time. There is no need to register and there is no special link. 
Viewers are welcome to pose questions for Dr. Chauhan during the live program.

February 4, Hagen F. Kennecke, MD, MHA, FRCPC, is Medical Director of the Virginia Mason Cancer Institute in Seattle, Washington. His areas of expertise include neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), gastroenterology, oncology, and rectal cancer. He is passionate about finding new therapeutics for patients with neuroendocrine tumors.  Dr. Kennecke has served as a member of the National Cancer Institute of Canada, CTG GI Site Committee and the Neuroendocrine Tumor Task Force of the NCI GI Steering Committee.

February 11, Angela Laffan, NP, MSN, is Assistant Director of the Gastrointestinal Oncology Survivorship program at the University of California San Francisco Health. She is a nurse practitioner who uses a holistic approach to help patients manage symptoms of gastrointestinal cancer and side effects of its treatments. She also educates patients on how to improve their health and quality of life, and how to reduce their risk of cancer recurrence. Ms. Laffan has more than 25 years of experience in oncology nursing.
February 18, Daniel M. Halperin, MD, is a medical oncologist and clinical investigator at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas, focusing on the development of novel treatments for patients with NETs in addition to providing clinical care to patients with NETs and other gastrointestinal cancers. He leads clinical trials of new drugs for NET patients and  is also a member of the Neuroendocrine and Adrenal Tumor guideline committee of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, contributing to evidence-based guidelines for the care of NET patients.
