A YEAR OF Research Growth

The Notre Dame Environmental Change Initiative (ND-ECI) just finished the NDR-led Annual Review Process, and is excited to share some highlights from 2019. The ND-ECI community saw continued growth in several key areas, including proposals submitted, total proposal dollars, awards received, and total award dollars for new research. Beyond its ability to secure research funding, ND-ECI saw success in building an engaged community of interdisciplinary scholars, further strengthening its role as a bridge that facilitates productive new connections.

Research Q&A

Aaron Bivins (CEEES) is an ND-ECI-affiliated postdoctoral research associate who works in Kyle Bibby's lab.
Realizing that wastewater surveillance could add value to managing COVID-19, Aaron and Kyle established platforms to empower collaboration on a global scale for wastewater based epidemiology (WBE) of SARS-CoV-2.
