Dear Faculty, Administrators and Staff,
|
The Office of the Provost is pleased to announce Seton Hall’s five representatives for the BIG EAST Undergraduate Research Poster Symposium, taking place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Madison Square Garden. This competition brings together top undergraduate researchers from all 11 BIG EAST universities.
|
Through a selection process in which projects were scored and ranked based on multiple factors including prior presentation experience, mentor support and presentation quality, the committee selected the following students based on their outstanding research:
|
-
Lianna Cruz and Maia Coyle (Jon Radwan, Ph.D.) – Nonverbal Communication in New York Fashion Week
- Krish Reddy (Tinchun Chu, Ph.D.) – Combating Potential Drug-Resistant Pathogens with a Lipid-Modified Green Tea Derivative
-
Gabriella DeGuzman and Alyssa Housley (Meghan Caufield, Ph.D.) – Neurobehavioral correlates of traumatic brain injury in New Jersey college students

-
Sean Coulson and Natalie Ruby (Reverend Gerald J. Buonopane, Ph.D.) – Quantifying the effect of water activity on lipid oxidation in foods via the TBARS assay
|
We look forward to seeing Seton Hall’s various projects represented once again. Before they head to the BIG EAST competition, we invite you to stop by the Regents Suite in President’s Hall on Monday, March 9 at 12 p.m. to see their presentations and help cheer them on. Let’s bring home a victory!
