Roos Return Rundown

"I wear a mask because it’s the right thing to do and it’s common courtesy. I want to protect those around me whether they be family, friends or strangers on the street and I would want someone to want to do the same thing for me."
– Mahreen Ansari, SGA vice president, political science major

Why We Wear Masks

One of our top Roo Responsibilities to each other is wearing a mask — it's also a requirement on campus. This week on social media, you'll find students, faculty and staff answering "Why I Wear A Mask." When you return to campus, you'll see signs that say 'Wear A Mask (Save A Roo)." And masks are the main topic of this email!
UMKC Policy
Face coverings or masks are required in all indoor spaces, except when you're alone in a private office with the door closed, and are required in all outside spaces when physical distancing of six feet cannot be maintained.
