To keep their patients and employees safe during the pandemic, many health care providers completely restructured their services, pivoting from in-person to remote patient visits. For these organizations, that shift has been rapid — and transformational.
Through the Virtual Care Innovation Network (VCIN), health care leaders have been working to solve complex challenges associated with the implementation, improvement, and sustainability of "virtual care."
The VCIN is funded by Kaiser Permanente and designed in partnership with the National Health Care for the Homeless Council, the Center for Care Innovations, primary care associations in each of the states in which Kaiser Permanente provides care, and regional associations in California.
