Funding Our Library Future
City to Poll Residents on Library Funding Options
Based on the community’s request for expanded services and increased library use, it is currently estimated library funding will fall short by at least $3.2 million every year. The City of Boulder is exploring funding options and will poll residents by phone and survey in the weeks to come. We appreciate your feedback and hope you'll take the opportunity to weigh in. To learn more about library funding options, check out the latest Inside Boulder video coverage and visit the Funding our Library Future information page.

After college, Rebekah moves to New York City, dreaming of becoming a big-city reporter and maybe learning more of her mother. I don't normally read mysteries, but I loved this book, the first of three in a series. The second and third are even better." -Margie, Resource Services

Libraries for Everyone. Fines for No One.
On Mar. 1, 2019, the Boulder Public Library eliminated overdue fines, to remove barriers to library access for all library users. All checked out items still have a due date and must be returned once the checkout period has expired and all renewals have been used. Forward-thinking public libraries across the United States are eliminating fines to ease financial hardship & enhance the library experience for people of all ages. More info.
