Next Wednesday night, Oct. 9, we will not have our Re:treat due to Fall Break.
Kids Min Fall Fun Day
This Sunday, October 6th, invite a friend to join you for Sunday School and Worship! The person with the most friends invited gets a special prize. Following Worship we will have a fellowship lunch in the Garden before heading to Moseley Meadows Pumpkin Patch for the afternoon. Tickets for the Pumpkin Patch are $15 for kids and $10 for adults. Children ages 2 and under are free to attend the Patch. For more info and to let Pastor Haven you plan to be there for lunch, contact Pastor Haven.
It is almost book club time again!  As our Wednesday nights continue, it's time to pick up the book (you can order it on Amazon) and start reading this fascinating book we will use toward the end of our Wednesday night gatherings for our book club. Following a recommendation, we have chosen to read The Spirit of Justice: True Stories of Faith, Race, and Resistance, by Jemar Tisby. We will meet Wednesday, October 23 following our 5:45 meal to discuss, and the author will join us via Zoom!
Join us for Madison the City's Scarecrow Festival Thursday, October 24 at Liberty Park from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.  Serving at Madison's Scarecrow Festival is one way we live into our goal of being a presence in our community. Sign up for a slot to work at the festival or to meet Pastor Dawn at 3:30 at PHUMC to load and setup at Liberty Park by clicking this link. We will have activities for kids, candy to pass out, and postcards to share about upcoming PHUMC events. Wear your PHUMC t-shirt if you have one. Email Haven for more info or questions.
