Thank You for a Successful Give to the Max Day!
Thanks to all of you and the generosity of an anonymous donor who pledged to triple match donations, we raised over $15,000 on Give to the Max Day to continue our work advocating for animals.This exceeded our total from last year and included contributions from 39 brand new donors.
It's moments like this when so many members of the community come together to take action that prove our power to incite change.

Welcome New ARC Board Member Steve Leinen
Please join us in welcoming Steve Leinen to the ARC Board of Directors. Steve has been a dedicated and respected volunteer with ARC for several years. He can always be counted on to help out whether it's with vegan grocery shopping tours, cooking classes, or lending a warm smile during a hectic event. And of course, he's married to volunteer extraordinaire Amy Leinen! Steve has been on the boards of several other organizations including Twin Cities Tai Chi Ch'uan and various Masonic organizations. He and Amy care for their cat, the cats of their children, and two semi-feral cats for Feline Rescue. We know Steve's perspective, volunteer experience, and accounting skills will help advance our mission to help animals.

Want to Help Animals?
Join the ARC In Action meeting on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at 317 W 48th St. in Minneapolis. You don't have to be vegan or vegetarian to attend. We'd like to get to know you, and the animals need your help. If you can't make a meeting, just fill out our online volunteer form.

The ARC office and Ethique Nouveau, our 100% all vegan store, will have special holiday hours this year in addition to our regular hours (Wednesday noon-8, Thursday and Friday noon-6, and Saturday noon-5). We will also be open Sundays on December 6 from 11-6, and December 13 and 20 from 11-3. And we will be open on Monday, December 21 and Tuesday, December 22 from 1-6.

Join us for a fun, festive local maker vegan pop up shop. Vendors include Comfort Candy, Captured by Brooke Photography, Totally Baked Donuts, Amelia & Holly's - Compassionately Crafted Canine Treats, and Grlk. Join ARC at one of our tastiest events where you get to sample delicious vegan cookies. This is a great event at which to find new recipes or get goodies to feed holiday guests. To participate, bake 4 dozen of one type of vegan cookie (vegan means no dairy, eggs, butter, or other animal animal products). Easy Peasy Plant-Based Holiday Cooking Class
Saturday, December 12, 2:00-4:00 p.m., Mississippi Market, 740 7th St. E, St. Paul
Join ARC volunteers Lori and Hannah for a fun, holiday themed plant-based cooking class. We'll prepare an entree, side dish, and dessert that show how affordable and easy plant-based eating can be, and you get to sample everything.
