| Dispatch Goods Containers in USC
Retail dining at University Student Center (USC) is getting upgraded this semester. As a sustainability initiative spearheaded by the Student Advisory Panel Executive Board, all compostable containers and clamshells at Absurd Bird and Chaat House have now been replaced with Dispatch Goods reusable containers. No token or opt-in necessary. Simply enjoy your food then place the reusable container in the corresponding orange bin.

Tracking OZZI's Impact
Last semester, we began tracking the number of OZZI reusable to-go containers that were returned to Shenkman, Thurston, and Pelham Commons Dining Halls last semester to better gauge our environmental impact. For the Fall 2025 semester, 1,619 OZZI containers were returned for reuse.

| Happy New Year, GW Revs!
Did you know that as part of the GW Dining program, I host wellness events? Each month, I set up a Feel Good Food table with delicious, trending foods designed to help you feel your best and support holistic health.
This month’s star ingredient is… matcha! Matcha is a finely ground powder made from shade-grown green tea leaves, giving it its vibrant green color and rich umami flavor.
Traditionally suspended in hot water, matcha is more than just a trend - it’s a powerhouse of wellness benefits:
|
-
Antioxidants: Support overall health and may reduce chronic disease risk
- L-theanine: Provides sustained energy and focus without the crash
|
|
|
Stop by my Feel Good Food table to learn more, sample some matcha, and stir things up - because when it comes to wellness, working with the Campus Dietitian can be a perfect matcha (see what I did there)!
