On March 26, Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District Manager Melissa Daruna submitted her resignation. She accepted another position outside the organization, and her last day will be April 19. Melissa has worked for the Metropolitan District in various capacities since 2010. She began her career with the community in youth programs and was later promoted to Recreation Director. She was hired as the District Manager in 2016 when Darrell Windes retired. Melissa’s positive attitude, teamwork approach, and dedication to this community will be sorely missed. We wish her the best. The Metropolitan District Board will determine a transition plan in the coming weeks. Thank you for your patience while the process moves forward.

The KC Fitness Center is offering a FREE day Sunday, April 7. Come try all the Fitness Center has to offer! Treadmills, ellipticals, bicycles to use for your cardio workout, and 9 Cybex resistance machines, as well as dumbbells and barbells to use for resistance training. Bring a friend and come visit the KC Fitness Center, located in the Community Center, 1 Club Drive.

Sign up for a pony ride at Ken-Caryl Equestrian Center! The rides are for ages 3 to 100, and the cost is $30, payable with cash or check at the time of the ride. This special event will take place Tuesday, May 28 and Wednesday, May 29 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Reservations are required by contacting the Ken-Caryl Riding School at 303-972-8456 or eqschool@kcranch.org.
