Step by step
Rewriting a long application process into a user-centered step by step can seen intimidating! One example we helped write is applying for a cannabis business permit. It's a complicated process, but a prospective applicant can skim this page and get an idea of what it entails.
Β
If you have a process that you're wondering how to rewrite as a step by step, transactions, and information pages, sign up for office hours on Tuesdays so we can discuss it together!

Human translations on SF.gov
Every page on SF.gov has translations, either by machine or by a human. The top right corner doesn't tell you what type of translations you get, but you can tell by looking at the page URL.
Β
If the URL has a node number, then it's machine translation (like https://sf.gov/es/node/366). If it has the page title and a language picker (es, fil, or zh-hant) in the URL, then it's human translation (like https://sf.gov/es/public-body/small-business-commission)
Β
We can help you with human translations for your page.
|
Hope to see you on Teams! Happy editing!
Β
Thanks as always for being fantastic partners, getting services and information to all San Franciscans.
